Morning. It's a proper Saturday—12 degrees, partly cloudy, and you've got until 7:32 PM to play with. UV's moderate at 4.0, so you're fine either way.

Transit-wise, the 257 detour cleared this morning, so you're good there. Nothing major hitting today, but if you're headed west on the 10 to Sasamat, that stop's moved to Tolmie until mid-week. Tomorrow morning the 9 gets a little shuffled around Broadway and Alma from 6 to 11, but that's Sunday early—not your problem right now.

Couple things worth knowing: there's a serious collision investigation downtown that claimed a driver's life, and police are searching for an 84-year-old man with dementia. If you're out, keep an eye open. On the brighter side, someone's been feeding the Downtown Eastside thousands of home-cooked meals—real neighbourhood stuff happening.

If you're thinking food, you've got options. The Croissant Crawl is back through October with 38 limited creations scattered around the city—worth hunting through a few spots if you're feeling it. Ramen Danbo's dropping a Yaletown flagship this fall, and Chef Steven Che just opened Haisan on the Drive, a small 30-seat place focused on Chinese Pacific Northwest. If you want to go proper fancy tonight, Miku's doing a $150 kaiseki menu with a window seat—that's the move for sushi and city views.

Evening's fully booked if you want it. The Lions are home at BC Place taking on Montreal at 7—solid Saturday-night pitch energy.
