Zab Bite, the Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant on Fraser Street in East Vancouver, recently hosted actress Fola Evans-Akingbola from Netflix's "The Night Agent."
The restaurant posted a photo of Evans-Akingbola with staff, thanking her for the visit. Zab Bite specializes in E-Sarn style cuisine — northeastern Thai food known for bold, complex flavours. The menu runs to papaya salad, sticky rice, and grilled meats. A standout is the Crying Tiger: grilled beef with jaew sauce, rice powder, and chili flakes.
The team behind Zab Bite is also involved in Charm, a recently opened upscale-casual eatery nearby that serves a selection of Thai food as well.
