The sixth-annual Eastside Arts Festival returns this July with visual art, live music, and community experiences running July 17 to 26 across the Eastside Arts District.

Programming features photography and soundwalking tours, public art experiences, glass fusing, ceramic making, painting workshops, immersive performances, and live music. New this year are artist-led walking tours, allowing visitors to move through neighbourhoods with deeper understanding guided by local creators. The festival also debuts a street photography tour with local artist Wendy D., teaching practical mobile photography techniques without requiring professional equipment.

The festival's main outdoor attraction is July 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at MacLean Park, featuring a free afternoon with live music, food trucks, a beer garden, public art activities, and an art market with local artists. The Whitty Wily Poetry Connection on July 18 invites everyone to write poetry as it happens.

Workshop tickets range from $35 to $55, walking tours are $20, and Dance Deck performances range from $40 to $70. Certain events are free. The festival partners with local businesses, breweries, and artist studios across the district, creating opportunities for people to encounter moments of wonder and connect more deeply with the artists, spaces, and communities that shape Vancouver's cultural landscape.
