Kitsilano is about to fall down the rabbit hole. On July 11, the Khatsahlano Street Party returns under the theme Khatsahlano Wonderland, transforming 10 vibrant blocks from Burrard Street to Macdonald Street on West 4th Avenue into Vancouver's biggest free music and arts festival.

Curated by local independent music staple Zulu Records, the festival celebrates regional talent. The Burrard Stage, presented by TD and Stir, features headliners Uncle Strut — known for high-energy, soul-infused rock — alongside Felisha and the Jazz Rejects, Concrete Vehicles (raw post-punk), and Leo D.E Johnson (dirty soul). The lineup also includes Chopping Spree!, Big Rig, Emmett Jerome, and Jian & Kitten Co. (dreamy indie sounds).

Beyond the music, expect whimsical surprises across the 10-block party. Unwind at the Italian Chamber of Commerce Lambrusco Wine Garden, or explore refreshing beer and beverage gardens. Food highlights include the Tacofino Garden (tacos and margaritas all day) and the Chapman's Ice Cream Chill Zone. More than 50 food trucks and over 300 local vendors will be on site.

Festival-goers can flex strategy skills at chess-set activations, capture moments at selfie stations, and discover picture-perfect photo moments scattered throughout. The Khats Kids Zone keeps younger visitors engaged. The festival draws more than 150,000 visitors annually.
