Shaquille O'Neal is bringing his DJ Diesel electronic music project to Vancouver on August 21, at Harbour Event Centre as part of his Summer of Shaq 2026 tour.
The 54-year-old Hall of Famer and broadcaster has become known for his EDM performances under the DJ Diesel moniker. His tour spans Spain, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Croatia, and multiple U.S. cities before landing in Vancouver.
O'Neal has a history with the city. In summer 1999, he rented a house in West Vancouver to work with Dr. Alex McKechnie, crediting that training period with saving his basketball career. McKechnie's work with Shaq later landed him a job with the Los Angeles Lakers, where the centre won five NBA championships. O'Neal later won a sixth title with Toronto in 2019.
