Grace Elliott drafted to Seattle Torrent in women's hockey league

Grace Elliott of White Rock has been drafted 38th overall (fourth round) by the Seattle Torrent in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Draft on Wednesday, June 17.
Elliot had an outstanding university career with the University of B.C. Thunderbirds. She's the reigning Canada West and U Sports Player of the Year.
She finished the regular season as the top scorer in her conference and across the country, leading with 37 points and 24 goals in 28 games. In December, she broke the program's all-time Canada West points record.
The draft announcement came at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, announced on the PWHL's website and YouTube channel.
