Rogers has announced a $5 million investment to improve cellular coverage across Downtown Vancouver and key areas of the city ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The initiative includes deployment of temporary cell towers on wheels and "cells on light" facilities in high-traffic areas, designed to provide faster speeds, lower latency, and greater reliability for cellular users during the tournament.
