Surrey Police Service is warning the public that Skylar Wayne Pelletier, a 26-year-old Indigenous male with a history of violent and sexual offences toward females, will be living in Surrey.
Pelletier is 6'2" tall with a heavy build, short black hair, and brown eyes. Surrey Police emailed his description and photograph to news outlets Monday, September 14.
Pelletier is subject to electronic monitoring and is bound by strict court conditions: no contact with previous victims or their family members; residence at a location approved by a bail supervisor; a prohibition on going within two blocks of the 2500-block Woodland Drive in Vancouver; a ban on consuming, purchasing, or possessing alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substance; and a curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. except with prior permission from the bail supervisor.
The Surrey Police Service Major Crime Unit will continue monitoring Pelletier. Police are asking the public to call 9-1-1 if they see him breaching any release conditions.
