Every FIFA World Cup match in Vancouver is either sold out or has only a handful of tickets remaining, marking a sharp reversal from early concerns that high prices would leave seats empty.

Vancouver's first match—Australia vs. Türkiye on June 12—drew a sellout crowd of 52,497 at BC Place. FIFA President Gianni Infantino, in attendance, called it "fantastic" after the game, saying the full stadiums and great atmospheres were exactly what the tournament needed.

The city has six matches remaining: Canada vs. Qatar on Thursday, June 18; New Zealand vs. Egypt on June 21; Switzerland vs. Canada on June 24; and New Zealand vs. Belgium on June 26. BC Place will also host a Round of 32 match on July 2 and a Round of 16 match on July 7.

Toronto has shown similarly strong attendance, with Canada's opener against Bosnia and Herzegovina drawing 43,002 fans—just 34 short of the stadium's 43,036 capacity during the World Cup.
