Pho Pham, a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant, has opened its third Calgary location in Chinatown at 302 Centre St. S.
Owners Coi and Lan arrived in Canada as refugees in 1992. After years working in Vietnamese restaurants, they opened Pho Hoan Pasteur in 2005 before launching Pho Pham, which already has locations in Signal Hill and University District.
The Chinatown outpost serves classic Vietnamese fare—salad rolls, vermicelli noodles, and the restaurant's signature beef pho with options including steak, brisket, meatballs, and tendon. The new location is open seven days a week.
The Chinatown neighborhood has long been a hub for Vietnamese food in Calgary, and this opening adds to the area's continuing culinary draw.
