Pizza Culture ranked 80th best pizzeria in the world, only Canadian spot on 50 Top Pizza list

Pizza Culture has been named one of the world's top 100 pizzerias by 50 Top Pizza, landing at number 80 in the 2026 rankings and climbing one spot from its placement last year. It's the only Canadian pizzeria on the list.

50 Top Pizza evaluates each pizzeria anonymously based on product quality, creativity, drinks menu, service, and atmosphere. Pizza Culture delivers on each measure. Founder Jeremy Hube serves authentic Neapolitan pizza from the restaurant's Edmonton Trail location, which opened in 2020.

The dough is crafted using Double Zero flour imported from Italy and naturally leavened using a sourdough starter continuously refreshed for a decade—no refrigeration. Hube sources tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and olive oil from Europe whenever possible. At the heart of the operation sits a Stefano Ferrara oven, built by a third-generation oven builder in Naples. Fired with cherry and apple wood from the Okanagan, it reaches 900°F and cooks pizzas within 90 seconds.
