The 2026 Calgary Stampede is offering four free-admission opportunities this summer for families and visitors looking to enjoy the grounds without paying gate fees.

Parade to Park — Friday, July 3, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Following the annual Stampede Parade, visitors can head straight to Stampede Park for free admission.

Tim Hortons Family Day — Sunday, July 5, until 11 a.m. The first Sunday of Stampede marks Family Day, with free admission, activities, entertainment, and a pancake breakfast in the GMC Stadium Courtyard. A variety show runs from 8 to 10 a.m.

TC Energy Community Day — Tuesday, July 7, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free admission all day; seniors 65+ receive all-day free entry. Military veterans get complimentary coffee and donuts in the BMO Plaza until 11 a.m.

BMO Kids' Day — Wednesday, July 8, until 11 a.m. (all day for kids 12 and under) Families with young children can enjoy free admission for kids 12 and under all day, plus free admission for everyone until 11 a.m. Free breakfast and variety show run 8 to 10 a.m. in the GMC Stadium Courtyard.

Each window offers a different reason to visit—whether you're after the parade-day buzz, family entertainment, community celebration, or a kid-friendly morning. The combination gives Calgary families multiple entry points to the Stampede without the gate cost.
