Free Stampede pancake breakfasts happening across Calgary this week
Over 30 community organizations are hosting pancake breakfasts before and during the Calgary Stampede, July 2–6, most free or low-cost.

The Calgary Stampede brings parades, rodeos, and midway rides—and an abundance of pancakes. Dozens of community organizations are hosting free or low-cost pancake breakfasts across the city before and during the Stampede, which runs July 3–12.
Breakfasts start Thursday, July 2, with the Salvation Army Community Services offering pancakes at 1731 29 St SW from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and Calgary Dream Centre serving at 4510 Macleod Trl SW from 9 a.m. to noon.
Friday, July 3, includes London Drugs Airdrie Stampede Breakfast (8:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.) and New Horizon Mall's "Stampede Breakfast for Dinner" (4 p.m.–6 p.m.).
Saturday, July 4, is peak breakfast day with over a dozen events across the city, including CF Chinook Centre (7 a.m.–11 a.m.), Millrise Seniors Village (8 a.m.–11 a.m.), OMO's Green Tea Pancake Breakfast at 5222 Macleod Trl SW (8:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.), Grace Presbyterian Church, Cranston, Thornhill Baptist Church, Bells of Steel fitness gym, MaKami College at Marlborough Mall, Acadia Recreation Complex, the District at Beltline, and Falconridge Family Church.
Sunday, July 5, features additional breakfasts including Stampede Almusal (7:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.), Calgary Stampede Family Day at Olympic Way (8 a.m.–10 a.m.), Christ Church in Elbow Park, YMCA at Seton, Maranatha, Brentview Baptist, Capstone Church, Varsity breakfasts with live music (10 a.m.–2 p.m.), Truth Church, Bon A-Pet puppy pancake day, Eritrean Stampede Breakfast, Church in Calgary's green onion pancake breakfast, and Gramsterdam Cannabis Stampede BBQ.
