Airdrie Community Health Centre dedicates bench in honour of long-serving volunteer
Audrey Raw logged more than 18,000 volunteer hours over 24 years before her death earlier this year.

Staff at the Airdrie Community Health Centre gathered to dedicate a new bench in their outdoor sitting area in memory of Audrey Raw, a volunteer who gave more than two decades of service to the facility.
Raw volunteered for more than 24 years, contributing more than 18,000 volunteer hours to the centre. She helped with programs, events, and day-to-day activities and continued volunteering until her 91st year before passing away earlier in 2026.
"For more than 24 years, Audrey generously gave her time and talents to the centre, contributing more than 18,000 volunteer hours," Alberta Health Services Volunteers shared on Facebook. "Whether helping with programs, events or day-to-day activities, she was always ready to lend a hand and make a difference."
Known for her determination, kindness, and dedication, Raw left a lasting mark on fellow volunteers and those she helped. "Audrey will always be remembered with gratitude and affection, and her presence is deeply missed," the post read.
