A victim of an assault is fighting for their life after being attacked in the Beltline area Tuesday morning, according to Calgary police.
Officers responded to calls at 7 a.m. for an assault at 16 Street and 12 Avenue SW. The victim was found and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, though police say they are now in stable condition.
One person is in custody. While the investigation is ongoing, the area will have a significant police presence.
