Calgary police and Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) have charged a 25-year-old man following a joint human trafficking investigation launched in March 2026.
Eric Dinh, who lives in the Martindale neighbourhood, was arrested September 29. A search of his home turned up quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as nearly $5,000 in cash.
Dinh is facing five charges: obtaining a material benefit from sexual services, advertising sexual services, possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited device, and possession of proceeds of crime. He was released from custody under conditions and is scheduled to appear in court October 23.
Police believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to contact the Calgary Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
