A house in northeast Calgary's Martindale neighbourhood was riddled with bullets shortly before 4 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, in what police believe was a targeted attack.
The home on Martin Crossing Park N.E. sustained significant damage, including to one window, after being struck multiple times. No one inside was injured. The residence sits directly across the street from an elementary school and its playground.
A suspect fled the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle. No one has been arrested, and police say the investigation is in early stages. They are asking anyone who was in the area around 3:55 a.m. with security camera or dashcam footage to contact Calgary police at 403-266-1234.
