Man forced into trunk and driven northeast of Calgary; three charged with kidnapping

A man walking his dog in a northwest Calgary park just after midnight on August 18 was forced into the trunk of his car by three suspects, driven to the outskirts of the city, then released while the vehicle was stolen.
The 31-year-old was approached near the 200 block of Lucas Boulevard N.W. in Livingston when another man threatened him with a knife. After a physical altercation, two more men arrived and all three suspects pushed him into his car's trunk, according to Calgary Police Service. The suspects drove him to Wagon Wheel Crescent, roughly nine kilometres northeast of the park, released him, and drove away with the vehicle.
The victim sustained minor injuries, including cuts to his hands, and flagged down a passing driver who called RCMP. Later that day, Calgary police tracked the stolen car to Rundle in northeast Calgary. After observing it drive out of the city at high speed, police followed it to Innisfail, approximately 109 km north of Calgary, with assistance from RCMP and the Helicopter Air Watch for Community Safety (HAWCS).
In the Innisfail parking lot where the car stopped, RCMP arrested a woman driving it and two male passengers. Two children were also in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.
Kyle Fraser, 31, of Calgary is charged with kidnapping, robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of an assault weapon, and two counts of breach of conditions. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, September 16. Danny Sawa Sawa, 21, of Calgary is charged with kidnapping and robbery. He remains in custody and appeared in court on August 28. Tiera Sedentopf, 25, of Calgary is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and dangerous driving. She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, September 18.
Calgary police say they are still looking to identify a fourth suspect involved in the kidnapping. The victim's dog was recovered and returned to the owner.
