Search efforts for 11-year-old Parker, who went missing from his day home on Thursday, July 16, have located the boy. Parker is neurodivergent and nonverbal.
Parker was last seen at his day home in the 0 to 100 block of Connaught Drive N.W. sometime between 11:08 and 11:41 a.m. on July 16. Articles of clothing believed to belong to him were found around noon in the 0 to 100 block of Northmount Drive N.W. the same day.
CCTV footage captured him at 12:34 p.m. from a business adjacent to McKnight Boulevard and Centre Street N.W., and again at 12:52 p.m. in the 5000 to 6000 block of Travis Crescent N.E.
Search efforts focused on northwest communities including Cambrian Heights, Thorncliffe, North Haven, North Haven Upper, Highwood, Highland Park, Greenview, Greenview Industrial Park, Nose Hill Park and surrounding areas. Police, alongside trained search volunteers, utilized the Air Support Unit, Mountain Bike Unit, Canine Unit and ground search teams throughout the multi-day operation. Residents in those communities were asked to check properties, including garages, backyards, sheds, and under decks.
