Pedestrian struck by vehicle in southwest Calgary

A person is in life-threatening condition after being hit by a vehicle at Bow Trail and 37 Street SW on Friday afternoon.

A pedestrian is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Bow Trail and 37 Street SW on Friday afternoon around 3:45 p.m.

Emergency crews rushed the victim to Foothills hospital. The driver remained at the scene, and police are investigating the collision. The intersection has been closed to traffic as authorities work through the incident.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes in the area.
