Muhammad Hussain, 34, of Calgary, has been charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement following an incident on June 10, 2026 at approximately 3 a.m. in the Forest Lawn neighbourhood. The charges have not been tested in court.

According to Calgary Police Service, Hussain, who was on duty as a uniformed security guard at the time, approached a woman in Forest Lawn and drove her to an industrial area in southeast Calgary. The alleged assault occurred inside the company vehicle.

The security company reviewed in-car camera footage on July 29 and reported the incident to police. The Calgary Police Service Sexual Assault Investigative Unit identified the victim and collected evidence on September 1, the same day charges were laid.

Hussain is scheduled to appear in court on October 14, 2026. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Calgary Police Service.
