Calgary police have charged Spencer Stolk, 37, with indignity to a human body in connection with the death of 21-year-old Shakira Bearspaw, whose body was found near Cremona on July 29.
The Calgary Police Service's homicide unit was notified of the body on July 29. An autopsy identified the victim as Bearspaw, a Calgary resident. Stolk was arrested Tuesday in the 500 block of 40th Avenue N.W. and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
