A truck struck the concrete median on Deerfoot Trail in the northbound lanes near 17 Avenue SE on Friday, September 25, around 11:15 a.m. Emergency crews were called to the scene where the truck was positioned across the northbound lanes with debris scattered on both sides of the roadway. The truck was carrying roofing compound. No injuries were reported.
The collision caused significant damage to the median.
