Two charged with manslaughter after man dies from stab wounds in southwest Calgary

Calgary police have charged two people with manslaughter following the death of a 23-year-old man in southwest Calgary this week.
Police were called to a home at 38 Street S.W. in Rosscarrock around 10:50 p.m. on July 30. Officers found a man suffering from stab wounds and took him to hospital, where he later died. An autopsy confirmed the death was a homicide.
The victim has been identified as Jaden River Big Sorrel Horse.
Annata'Ksisstsi'Kommaokii De'Channa Hope Smith, also known as Dechanna Wells (22), and Naatoyikakatosina TaCheáh Heaven Wells, also known as Techeah Wells (23), were arrested at the scene. Both have been charged with manslaughter and are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, August 4.
