Summer's here and Edmonton's ice cream scene is ready. Whether you're chasing classics or hunting rotating flavours, the city's top spots offer more than sugar and cream—they offer community, craft, and reason to line up.

White Rabbit Ice Cream runs multiple locations across the city—downtown, south side, and Whyte Avenue—all small-batch operations built on gourmet curiosity. Their forever menu includes vanilla, chocolate, and the standout London Fog alongside seasonal rotations like Ube Honeycomb.

Yelo'd, with multiple locations, leans into Filipino and Asian-inspired flavours in both ice cream and baked goods. Owners Jason and Ailynn rotate biweekly, so repeat visits mean new discoveries. Non-dairy options keep it inclusive.

Made by Marcus started in Calgary and has exploded across Edmonton with three locations, each churning ice cream from scratch using grass-fed dairy. Their rotating flavours chase wild, innovative combinations that feel less like dessert and more like conversation starters.

Twice Cream, born from two best friends' passion project, hand-makes small batches using locally sourced ingredients. They've expanded to Sherwood Park, which means the suburb's got options too.

DRTY Ice Cream, started on Whyte Avenue at Station Park by founder Abby Ulanimo as a side hustle, brings Filipino sorbetes street-food tradition to Edmonton. A second downtown location keeps the momentum going.

Kind Ice Cream, women-led and community-driven, operates three Edmonton locations. All batches are made at home in the Ritchie location using old-fashioned techniques to create imaginative takes on classics. If you're on the go, check out their mobile partner, Bestie.

Each spot carries its own rhythm, neighbourhood vibe, and reason to visit. Pick one and get in line—that's half the fun.
