Roller disco takes over Rogers Place this month

Retro skating returns for second year with neon, disco balls, and two separate sessions. Family-friendly and 18+ options.

Rogers Place is transforming into a glowing roller rink on Saturday, June 20, for the return of the city's largest roller disco — a sold-out hit last year that's back for round two.

The venue will convert into a skating and dancing space beneath the arena's scoreboard disco ball. Expect neon, sequins, throwback outfits, and DJ sets as skaters show off their moves under the lights.

Two sessions cater to different crowds: a family-friendly skate runs from 3 to 5 p.m. for all ages, while an 18+ session takes over from 6 to 8 p.m. with drinks and live DJs. Arena food and beverage service will be available throughout.

Tickets are on sale now via the Rogers Place website. Admission is $35 for adults, $25 for children, and free for non-skating guardians. Skate rentals run $15 with ticket purchase, though you're welcome to bring your own roller skates or blades. This is the kind of downtown energy Edmonton needed — get in while tickets last.
