KidSport Leduc and County's fourth annual Used Equipment Sale returns to Alexandra Arena in Leduc on Saturday, August 22. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with equipment donations accepted starting at 10 a.m.

Families are encouraged to drop off sports equipment their children have outgrown and then stay for the sale to find gear for the coming year. "Our goal is to get affordable sports gear back into the community while raising funds to help local kids participate in organized sport," said Angela Kabotoff with KidSport Leduc and County. "Come donate, come shop, and help keep kids off the sidelines and in the game."

One hundred per cent of the proceeds from the event will go toward KidSport programming for children in Leduc, Millet, Wetaskiwin, and Leduc County. The event is sponsored, meaning all sale revenue directly supports the organization's mission to remove financial barriers to youth sports participation in the region.
