Developer Autograph is betting Edmonton's ultra-wealthy want lock-and-leave convenience without sacrificing their homes' amenities.
Breaking ground on The Clifton—a 12-storey tower between High Street and Old Glenora—the company is building 18 units priced from $2.73 million to $9.46 million, with the sprawling penthouse already sold at a record price for Alberta condos.
The smallest suite runs 1,730 square feet. The largest swells past 4,500—bigger than most houses. That top unit stacks a full kitchen, laundry room, library, bar, media room, and dual outdoor space into a single condo.
"These aren't your typical condos," said Autograph president Henry Edgar. "I like to think of it as a series of stacked luxury homes within one building."
Shared amenities include a fitness space, gallery-inspired lobby, concierge, resident lounge, private guest suite, and a landscaped courtyard with outdoor kitchen. The tower pulls uninterrupted views across the river valley and Victoria Golf Club.
About 75 percent of the building is already sold, with six units left on the market. The move signals developer confidence that Edmonton's condo market—currently flush with inventory—still has room at the very top.
