The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the Schonsee neighbourhood near 78 Street and 173 Avenue. Multiple shots were fired at a residence as occupants arrived home. Two adults were treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries and transported to hospital. No other injuries were reported.
Police reviewed area surveillance and believe the suspect exited a dark-coloured truck parked along the west curb of 78 Street near 173 Avenue since approximately 9:45 p.m. The suspect fled immediately after the shooting, travelling eastbound on 173 Avenue in the truck.
Investigators are particularly interested in dash camera or security footage recorded between 9:45 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. on April 24 showing a dark-coloured truck travelling along 173 Avenue or southbound on 78 Street from that intersection.
