Edmonton police seek footage in downtown suspicious death investigation
Officers are asking for dash cam and surveillance video from a 111-115 Street corridor after a man died Saturday morning.

Edmonton Police Service is seeking footage from anyone in the downtown corridor near 111 Street to 115 Street and 103 Avenue to 107 Avenue between 5:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. Saturday, July 4.
Downtown patrol officers were dispatched to the area at 6:30 a.m. after receiving a complaint about weapons. Upon arrival, they found an injured male. Emergency Medical Services took him to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
Investigators are particularly interested in footage of a dark-coloured SUV fleeing the area during that window. The homicide unit is leading the investigation.
