Jacques-Cartier Bridge closes Thursday nights for international fireworks festival

The Jacques-Cartier Bridge will be closed to traffic Thursday nights during the international fireworks festival, which kicks off tonight, July 2.
The closure runs from 8 p.m. to midnight on July 2, 9, 16, 23, 26, and 30, as well as August 6. The bridge will also close on Sunday, July 12. Pedestrians, strollers, and people with reduced mobility have access between 7:45 p.m. and 11:45 p.m., but bicycles are not permitted.
Drivers should check the bridge operator's website and plan trips ahead of time to avoid delays.
