Man stabbed in critical condition downtown
A woman fled the scene on Gauchetière Street after allegedly stabbing a man in the lower body Monday morning.

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed on Gauchetière Street in Ville-Marie on Monday morning around 11 a.m.
Montreal police say the victim was stabbed in the lower body following an argument with a woman, who fled before officers arrived. The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition.
Police have established a security perimeter as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. No arrests have been made yet.
