Transport Quebec will close part of the Highway 15 (Marie-Victorin Boulevard) service road for paving work over the next two weeks, affecting commuters and residents in the South Shore corridor.
The southbound service road between the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge area and Tessier Street will be completely closed overnight from September 28 to October 7. Closure hours are 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights.
Additionally, the service road near the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge to Highway 15 and the ramp from eastbound Highway 10 (des Cantons-de-l'Est) will close during the same hours.
A detour will be in place for residents between De Rome Boulevard and Turenne Street, routing traffic along Highway 10 eastbound, Taschereau Boulevard westbound, and de Rome Boulevard northbound.
Transport Quebec warns that work may be postponed or delayed due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints. Drivers should check Québec 511 before heading out. As HOC reported in August, Highway 15 northbound closed recently for overpass repairs between Jean-Talon and Paré, part of ongoing maintenance across the region's major routes.
