Power and IT systems were restored at Montreal-Trudeau airport on Wednesday afternoon after a nearby outage in Dorval disrupted operations for roughly an hour.
The outage began around 2 p.m., affecting various areas of the airport and temporarily disabling some systems. A spokesperson for Aéroports de Montréal said operations began resuming by 3 p.m.
Some systems were back online by mid-afternoon, though passengers were still encouraged to confirm flight status directly with their airlines. A traveller heading to Halifax reported that boarding on several flights was delayed as a result of the disruption.
Airport operations have since returned to normal, though the spokesperson advised travelers to verify their flight details before heading to the terminal.
