Canada takes on Morocco in a round of 16 match Saturday, July 4 at 1 p.m., the furthest the men's team has ever reached in the World Cup tournament. A free watch party at LeBreton Flats Park will host the city's second public broadcast of the tournament.

Heritage Canada and the City of Ottawa are partnering to bring fans together at the Bluesfest grounds. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. with food and beverages available to purchase on site. Admission is first-come, first-served and open to fans of all ages.

"As the nation's capital, Ottawa will join that shared national celebration, with the gathering at LeBreton Flats giving everyone in the National Capital Region a place to share the excitement, celebrate our team and stand together behind the Maple Leaf," said Marc Miller, Canada's culture minister, in a statement.

Those planning to attend should know that only small or clear bags no larger than a fanny pack will be allowed, and they will be inspected upon entry.

The energy around the watch party follows Canada's 1-0 win over South Africa on June 28, when fans poured into the streets—cars honked in triumph and Bank Street near the Glebe Central Pub became a drumming and flag-waving celebration.
