Sixth person arrested in Clarence-Rockland homicide investigation

A sixth person has been arrested in connection with the 2025 homicide of Robert Prévost, 63. Cathy Percey, 53, of Ottawa, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Friday, Oct. 9, following an arrest warrant announced on Oct. 6. She remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before Ontario Court of Justice in L'Orignal on Oct. 16.

Prévost was last seen at his home on Laurier Street in Clarence-Rockland three months before his body was discovered in the Ottawa River in May 2025, two months after he was reported missing. Police ruled the death a homicide.

Five other people have previously been charged in the case: Jessica St. Michael and Luc Décarie, both arrested in June 2026 and charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy, and indignity to a human body; Yvon Cieno, arrested in June 2026 and charged with the same offences; Mathew Blake of Arnprior, arrested in September and charged with second-degree murder, indignity to a dead body, and obstructing a peace officer; and Sébastien Boucher of Rockland, arrested in September and charged with obstructing a peace officer, obstructing justice, and accessory after the fact.
