Teen fighting critical injuries after stabbing near Mooney's Bay

A male in his late teens suffered critical stab wounds in an altercation at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility near Mooney's Bay Park on May 30.

Ottawa police responded to reports of a fight around 8:53 p.m. Officers provided initial care before paramedics transported the teen to hospital in critical condition. A second victim, a female teen, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was admitted in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information to call 613-236-1222.
