Police responded on Aug. 28 to a disturbance at a residence on Peter Harkness Lane in Cumberland, where they found two people with non-life-threatening stab wounds sustained during an argument. Ottawa paramedics responded to the scene with assistance from Prescott and Russell medics. Both patients were transported to hospital.
Jazmine Justin Gauthier, 45, of Ottawa, has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon. Grace Croft, 22, also of Ottawa, has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and two counts of assault.
