Health Canada recalls INMO AIR3 Smart Glasses over burn hazard

Health Canada issued a recall notice Thursday for the INMO AIR3 Smart Glasses due to a serious burn hazard.
The black glasses, identifiable by "AIR3" and "INMO" printed on the inside of the right arm, can overheat during extended use. The left temple poses a risk of injury, including burns, if the device is not updated.
The affected products were sold between December 2025 and August 2026 across Canada and the United States. A total of 120 units were sold in Canada, while 1,643 units reached the U.S. market. Prices ranged from $900 to $1,300. The glasses were sold on Amazon, Kickstarter, and INMO's website.
The AI-powered glasses combine smart eyewear, wireless audio, and voice-command features. They include four built-in microphones and two open-air speakers, and offer translation, productivity, and other AI-assisted tasks along with the ability to stream media.
"Immediately stop using the recalled product," the recall notice states. However, users can continue to use the glasses after updating the firmware to version 3.16 or later.
