Lethbridge police conducted a "high-risk search" at a home on Lemoyne Crescent on the city's west side Tuesday, with several nearby residences evacuated due to a "possible presence of weapons."
The intervention was made at the request of Surete du Quebec as part of its investigation into Monday's fatal shootings in Montreal.
Lethbridge resident Seth Hatfield, 25, has been identified as the alleged gunman responsible for the shootout that left a civilian and a police officer dead, and another officer wounded. Hatfield also died in the shootout.
