Lethbridge man identified in fatal Montreal police shooting

A 25-year-old Lethbridge man has been identified as the alleged gunman in a shooting in Montreal that left a civilian and a police officer dead and another officer wounded.
Seth Scott Hatfield was among three people killed in the incident Monday. Montreal police officer Mohamed Lamine Benredouane, 34, and Montreal resident Michel Mizrahi, 68, were also confirmed dead by Quebec's coroner's office. Hatfield was fatally shot by officers during the confrontation.
The Lethbridge Police Service said it is assisting Quebec authorities with the ongoing investigation. Police have not publicly identified the suspect in the shooting.
