Canadian artist BBNO$ played two vastly different shows in Toronto within days — a near-capacity arena show on Friday, June 6, then an intimate 200-person disco-themed party at Drake Underground on Wednesday, June 11, as part of the NXNE music festival.

At the Underground, BBNO$ performed remixed versions of his songs alongside classic disco and dance tracks with DJs Noche and Disco Dan. After the performance, he joined the crowd to dance, meet fans, take photos, and have an impromptu meet-and-greet.

Fans travelled far to catch the rare close-quarters experience. Chloe O., a fan who flew from Scotland, said the intimate venue meant the world to her after missing his Glasgow show. Laurey S., catching BBNO$ for a second time in one week, brought custom "rainbow money" with the artist's face on it to hand out during his song "1-800."

"I'm here to see BBNO$ for the second time this week," Laurey told Now Toronto. "The idea of hearing '1-800' live a second time would really heal my soul, I think."

NXNE runs a week of shows spotlighting more than 300 growing artists across more than 30 Toronto venues.
