UNO Social Club is bringing a free community game night to Toronto on July 9, transforming The Parlour into a card-playing hub with live DJs and MCs.
The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and invites players of all skill levels to compete, meet new people, and win exclusive prizes including branded merchandise and UNO product packs. Admission is free, but spots must be reserved online and entry is first come, first served.
The experience combines classic UNO gameplay with local DJs and live entertainment. Organizers say the idea is to turn one of the world's most recognizable card games into a social experience that brings strangers together through healthy competition. "At the heart of UNO is a simple truth: play brings people together," said Katie Buford, Vice President and global head of Mattel Games.
UNO Social Club has been expanding across North America as Mattel looks to turn the iconic card game into a larger in-person social experience. Toronto is among the latest stops, joining a growing trend of events that blend board games and card games with nightlife, live music and community meetups.
