Fire contained on 20th floor of East York residential tower

Toronto Fire crews doused a fire on the 20th floor of a residential high-rise in East York on Friday, June 26, with no injuries reported.
Firefighters were called to 47 Thorncliffe Park Drive, near Overlea Boulevard, at around 4:27 p.m. after smoke was spotted coming from a unit. The fire was contained to the single unoccupied unit on the 20th floor.
Crew remained on scene to clear smoke and monitor for any flare-ups.
