Brampton collision sends car into ravine; man in his 60s dies

A two-vehicle collision in Brampton on Sunday morning sent one car into a nearby ravine, killing a man in his 60s.

Emergency crews responded just before 8:30 a.m. to the crash at Queen Street and West Drive. Both drivers remained at the scene. The man was taken to a local hospital in life-threatening condition and was pronounced dead.

At the scene, one vehicle was parked on the street while the other sat in the bushes of the ravine below. Peel Regional Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision. The identity of the man in his 60s, the condition of the second driver, and the cause of the crash remain unknown. Police have not said when the investigation will be complete.
