A 29-year-old man died Sunday after being struck by a pickup truck in a grass parking lot at Downsview Park late Friday night, Toronto police said.
According to Toronto Police Service, a 57-year-old man was driving a 2024 black Dodge Ram in the parking lot shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, following a concert. The 29-year-old man was lying on the grass when the truck struck him. He was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition but succumbed to his injuries Sunday.
The driver remained at the scene. Traffic services is investigating.
