Ontario residents are getting a payment from the government this week. The Ontario Trillium Benefit — a tax-free monthly payment combining energy credits, property tax relief, and sales tax credits — arrives Wednesday, June 10 for anyone who qualifies for at least one of its three components.

Eligible Ontarians can receive up to $1,283 monthly for the energy and property tax credit if they're between 18 and 64, or $1,461 if they're 65 or older. The Northern Ontario Energy Credit adds up to $185 for single individuals or $285 for families. The Ontario Sales Tax Credit covers up to $371, with an additional $371 possible for spouses and dependent children under 19.

Other payments are staggered through the month: Canada Disability Benefit hits June 18, followed by Canada Child Benefit, Ontario Child Benefit, and Child Disability Benefit on June 19. CPP and OAS pension deposits arrive June 26.

If your payment doesn't arrive within 10 working days of the scheduled date, contact the Canada Revenue Agency. The next OTB deposit is scheduled for July 10.
