OpenTable's 2026 Top 100 puts 45 Ontario restaurants on Canada list, one more than last year
The list is built from more than 1.1 million verified diner reviews, and Ontario's count rose by one from 2025.

OpenTable has released its 2026 Top 100 restaurants in Canada, and 45 of them are in Ontario.
The list is built from more than 1.1 million verified diner reviews. It is listed alphabetically by province rather than ranked, and requires a minimum review threshold to qualify. Restaurants are scored on ratings, five-star share, alerts set, advance bookings, capacity and direct searches.
Edmonton's Sabor is the only Edmonton restaurant on the list, and it was also on last year's. The full 100-restaurant list is published on OpenTable's website.
Eric Kemppi, director of restaurant sales and service at OpenTable Canada, says 65 per cent of Canadians expect to eat out as often or more in 2027. Canadians intend to visit restaurants an average of seven times a month next year. In the same outlook, 45 per cent want more happy hours and value promotions.
