57-year-old driver killed in cement truck rollover on Highway 401 ramp in Scarborough
A Scarborough resident was pronounced dead at hospital after the truck overturned on the on-ramp from northbound Kennedy Road to eastbound Highway 401 Tuesday morning.

A 57-year-old Scarborough resident died Tuesday morning after a cement truck rolled over on the on-ramp from northbound Kennedy Road to eastbound Highway 401 in Scarborough.
Ontario Provincial Police responded at approximately 9:20 a.m. The driver was alone in the truck. Emergency responders took the driver to a local trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, but the driver was pronounced dead at hospital.
No other vehicles were involved in the rollover. The on-ramp was closed for investigation. OPP's Highway Safety Division is assisting with the investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information or dash camera footage from the time of the crash to contact them. This follows a garbage truck driver killed in a Highway 401 rollover in May and a Scarborough motorcycle-car collision death in June.
