Man dead in Scarborough motorcycle-car collision
A motorcyclist in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene Monday afternoon at Neilson and Tapscott roads.

A man in his 50s is dead after a motorcycle and car collided in Scarborough on Monday afternoon.
The crash happened at the intersection of Neilson and Tapscott roads at around 5:40 p.m. Officers found the injured motorcyclist and pronounced him dead at the scene. The driver of the car remained at the scene; no charges have been announced.
The intersection remained closed to traffic as police investigated. Motorists were asked to use alternate routes while the investigation continued.
